VSS is led by our phlebologist, Dr. Harper. Working alongside our dedicated VSS Team, we are committed to excellence in your care.
is the Founding Partner of VSS. He is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and a diplomat of the American Board of Vein and Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. Harper has provided comprehensive vein and lymphatic care since 1996-1997.
is a board certified cardiothoracic surgeon with over 25 years of experience. Joining the VSS team in 2020, Dr. Delius continues to share his expertise to help patients enjoy Better Looking and feeling legs. since 1996-1997.
Heidi attended Clemson University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree. She continued her studies at Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania, graduating in 2005 as a Physician Assistant. Heidi has spent nine years in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics before joining VSS.
During her education, Heidi completed research in bisphosphonate drugs as well as anti-cancer effects of Essiac Tea. Heidi is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.
Heidi is originally from Delaware and now resides in Macon. She is a trumpet player in the Ingleside Baptist Church Orchestra and enjoys obstacle races. As a Clemson alumna, Heidi is still an avid Tigers Fan.
Marsha attended Georgia College and State University where she graduated in 2017 as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She completed her undergraduate studies, graduating with honors from Georgia College and State University (1992) with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, and obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) at Macon Junior College (1987).
Specializing in invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures, Marsha has worked in healthcare for the past 31 years before joining VSS. She has also spent three years working with hospice. Additional certifications include: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (1999), Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist (1994), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (1992). Professional memberships include the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
She enjoys being with friends and family and especially enjoys spending time at the beach!
Heather Givens began her education at Armstrong Atlantic State University and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation Science. She then continued her studies at Gardner-Webb university graduating with her Master of Physician Assistant Studies. She had rotations in many areas including orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology and family medicine. She has experience working as a Physician Assistant in internal medicine before joining VSS. In her free time, Heather enjoys traveling, hiking, and kayaking. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Fun fact – Heather has a black belt in taekwondo.
Keely attended North Georgia College and State University graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then continued her education at Emory University graduating in December 2006 with a Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant. Keely had rotations in a variety of fields including internal medicine, general surgery, plastic surgery, pediatrics, and dermatology. After completing her education, Keely began working in gastroenterology and spent eleven years in this field. Keely is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Keely is married and lives in Forsyth with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, particularly her nephews and nieces.
Sherry Misinco is a dedicated and highly qualified healthcare professional with a wealth of experience in the medical field. She graduated from Tattnall Square Academy in 1998, followed by Georgia College & State University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2003 and a Master of Science in nursing, specializing in Family Nurse Practitioner, in 2010. Sherry has worked in various roles, including as a Registered Nurse in medical/surgical oncology and as a Nurse Practitioner in inpatient diabetes care, inpatient palliative care, and retail clinic settings. Before joining VSS, Sherry worked in primary care for 6.5 years providing adult internal medicine and pediatric care. She resides in Macon with her husband Michael and their beloved furbabies, Maggie and Gypsy.
In her free time, Sherry enjoys quality moments with family and friends, attending concerts, exploring new destinations like the Gulf Coast and Disney parks, indulging in movies, reading, and showcasing her culinary skills in the kitchen.
Barbara is a certified Occupational Therapist specialized in treating Lymphedema. She began her education by attending the Medical College of Georgia and graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Barbara is certified as an Occupational Therapist by the State of Georgia and has been certified in Lymphedema therapy for over 20 years. She has a special certification in Physical Agent Modality. She has spent most of her career working in the hospital environment and also has a certificate in Kinesio Taping.
When Barbara isn't performing therapy or taking classes, she enjoys being outdoors. Barbara is an avid cook and fisherman, and likes to spend time in her garden.
