Giving Back

At Vein Specialists of the South, we take pride in serving Macon. One of our distinctives as a practice is community. We are involved locally by giving back to our community to help make Macon a better place to live, work, and play.

Talk of the Town

Dr. Harper is passionate about Downtown Macon and helping it prosper. That’s why he started “Talk of the Town” with Philip Swicegood. Every month, Dr. Harper and Philip, interview someone in Central Georgia about the exciting things happening in our area. From Rolling Stone Chuck Leavell to the Macon Bacon, they’re here to celebrate all that Macon and middle Georgia have to offer. Health Fairs

Training and education are important in avoiding complications from prolonged standing or sitting in the work environment. Getting a ‘leg up’ by creating a healthy workforce is a great place to start and Vein Specialists of the South (VSS) is here to help with the process.

Adopt-A-Park

Dr. Harper and our staff at Vein Specialists of the South take pride in the downtown community here in Macon, Georgia. Dr. Harper loves this community so much that he continually invests in the beautification of Macon. Recently, Dr. Harper and Vein Specialists of the South adopted the park on Third Street in between Plum Street and Poplar Street. This means that we have partnered with Macon/Bibb County to keep this area beautiful and clean.
